MUSIC THERAPY SERVICE

I serve the geriatric population specializing in the care of those living with dementia and Alzheimer's Disease. I help improve their quality of life through music by encouraging and supporting their strengths and uniqueness. ABOUT ME

Hello. My name is Katherine Lim. Welcome to my website.

I grew up in a musical home, and through my father's guidance and support I pursued music as a career. I really enjoy my work and feel blessed that I am able to use my musical talents to help other great people.

I am an Accredited Music Therapist and have been serving the Lower Mainland since 2003, after graduating from the Music Therapy program at Capilano University in North Vancouver.

In addition, I am also an accomplished musician. I completed my Bachelor of Music degree from the University of British Columbia in 1999 majoring in General Music with Piano Concentration. Following that, I completed my ARCT in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music in 2005. I have been providing piano instruction to students of all ages and levels since 1996.
